They both want the audience to take their sides. Conveyed through storytelling, A Brimful of Asha is a comedic and heartwarming tale of a family caught between two cultures.

The story of the boy in India and his growing romance with a girl in India is juxtaposed with the story of his brother's cricket team which is trying to bring him over to break their losing streak. The play tackles themes of Islamaphobia, racial violence and the immigrant experience.
