War

By Branden Jacobs-Jenkins

Joanne and Tate received news that their mother had a stroke and is hospitalized. Upon arriving to the hospital room they discover a German woman, who barely speaks any English, claiming to be their mother's sister. Tensions escalate between the siblings as the German woman and her son reveal the reason they're here and make a shocking claim about their grandfather during WWII.
