Black Boys is created from the lives of three Black men seeking a deeper understanding of themselves, of each other, and of how they encounter the world. As they explore their unique identities on stage, they subvert the ways in which gender, sexuality, and race are performed.

Two actors, one male, one female illuminate the inner life of a trans woman from her Scottish childhood in the 1960s to the present day. Dragonfly is about how we construct and perceive gender, and how that can hide a person’s true identity not just from those around them, but even from themselves. Emerging from that; matching our inside to our outside is always hard, but for trans people it’s often a matter of life and death.

Never the Last shines a spotlight on the fascinating composer from the last century, Sophie Carmen Eckhardt-Grammatté— whose work was almost lost in the male-dominated classical music field, until she immigrated to Canada. Never the Last follows Sophie and her passionate relationship with the expressionist painter Walter Grammatté. The couple’s 10 years of marriage is marked by adventure, poverty, artistic strife and tragedy.
