Dead White Writer on the Floor
Comedy about Indigenous identity politics. In Act One, 6 Indigenous stereotypes including Tonto, Injun Joe and Pocahontas find themselves trapped in a room with a dead white writer. None of them can figure out how he died or which one of them killed him. As they accuse one another, they discover how unhappy they are with the versions of their lives constructed over the past 400 years. In Act Two, they are transformed into modern Indigenous people attending an AA Meeting once again with a dead white man in their midst
