Drawn from the playwright's experiences at residential school, the play explores the influence a favourite supervisor has on improving the boy's lives, and what happens when that supervisor is suddenly fired.

Aisha n’ Ben examines aesthetic and cultural values through the relationship of an Indo-Canadian film actor, obsessed with skin whitening, and a dark-skinned Filipino-Canadian actor, who meet in Bombay while making a Bollywood film.
