Kilt Pins
In a Catholic High School in Scarborough amidst low-income housing, difficult race relations, and poverty, a teenager struggles to find her sexual identity.
Exploring the different ways of being a woman in our society – specifically, a young lesbian woman – writer/director Corrina Hodgson juggles time, place, characters and alternate realities in marvelously theatrical fashion. At the center of the story is troubled, imaginative teenager Ginny, dealing with a prom-obsessed gal pal with whom she’s fooled around , a demanding mother, a manipulative lesbian lawyer and a psychologist with problems of his own. -Summerworks '04
