Abortion
In 2014, after the deaths of unarmed Black men and women in America, Amen sits down to write a letter to his unconceieved child about the joys ,dangers, and wisdom of life. Soon his words go from excitement to deep anger and fear about the conditions for Black men, and Amen reveals a frightening solution to create a better world for his child to be born into: to not have them at all, as he "has become resigned that he cannot bear to lose a child to police violence. If his girlfriend ever gets pregnant, they must terminate the baby." - Last excerpt from artsatl.org
